Add Beagle to Your Course
How to add Beagle as an external tool in Canvas
Log into Canvas and choose your course
Go to Modules
Click the “+ Module” blue button in the top right corner.
Name your Module, e.g. “Beagle Learning Link.”
Click “Add Module” in the bottom right.
You should see your new module at the bottom of the list.
To the right of your new module click “+:”
From the first dropdown menu, choose “External Tool”
Find “Beagle Learning” in the list of external tools.
Check (☑) the box next to “Load in a new tab” for the best student experience.
Click “Add Item.”
Click into the module you just created.
Click the grey button: “Load Beagle Learning in a new window.”
See the Beagle welcome page and follow the prompts to set up your course.
What if I don't see Beagle listed as an external tool?
It may be that your IT department has not integrated Beagle with Canvas.
Please email support@beaglelearning.com to request coordination with your IT department.
